MaxData.app traders gain a market edge by using
Triggers based on a wide spectrum of data: on-chain, exchange, and fundamental (X - Twitter). Using such triggers allows, for example, setting an automatic sell order when there's a risk of a price drop (before the drop occurs), e.g., after a dynamic price increase and a large inflow of Bitcoins to exchanges, or after a negative news filtered by X-GPT that could cause panic.
What is the minimum capital needed per position in trading bots? What balance in the spot wallet do I need to leave for the bot to operate? |
---|
The minimum amount per position is $20 USD. However, it is recommended to have a minimum equivalent of $100 USD in your exchange account for the automation to work smoothly. |
How much capital should I trade with to make the subscription worthwhile? |
---|
The amount of capital needed to make the subscription worthwhile depends on its cost and the timeframe in which you want to recoup your expenses. For example, if the subscription cost is $70 USD and your initial capital is $700 USD, the automations must generate over 10% profit monthly to recoup the subscription cost. Proportionally, the larger the initial capital, the lower the percentage profit required. These values should be treated as guidelines, and actual results will depend on the user's trading skills and strategy. |
Do I need to separate my assets on the account? |
---|
No, you don't need to. You just need to have the appropriate amount of funds in your spot account in USDT or BTC, depending on your preferred currency. |
Will it be possible to trade on leverage? |
---|
We do not anticipate adding leverage trading options because statistics indicate that long-term trading on futures markets is unprofitable, and most traders lose instead of making profits. We want to maximize user profits, so we only support spot markets. Nevertheless, we do not exclude providing data from leveraged markets to our users. |
Is trading to BTC possible? |
---|
Yes, trading to BTC is possible. |

Purchase FunctionsBuy with a percentage of capital |
---|
|
Allows purchasing a token with a percentage of total capital, instead of a fixed amount of funds. |
This feature ensures flexibility in allocating funds for token purchases. |
For example, if you set it to 5% and your total capital is $10,000, the bot will allocate $500 for each token purchase. |
Alternatively, if you want to purchase tokens for a fixed amount of funds, you can specify the exact amount to be used for each token purchase. This method may require manual adjustments if your capital changes over time. |
Max. 24h volume |
---|
|
Defines the maximum purchase size, measured against the 24-hour trading volume of the token. |
This limit prevents investing a large amount of capital in tokens with low liquidity. |
If you set it to 2%, the trading bot will make a purchase with capital not exceeding 2% of the last 24-hour trading volume. |
Do not buy if the price has risen |
---|
|
A protective feature against purchases during rapid price increases. |
Helps avoid buying at peaks, thus reducing the risk of purchasing at the highest prices. |
To protect against purchases during a rapid price rise, choose how much rise in a specific time will block the coin purchase. |
Percentage Increase |
---|
|
Sets the percentage increase after which the purchase will be halted. |
By defining the maximum percentage increase, you can protect yourself from buying tokens during sharp price rises. |
If you want the trading bot not to make a purchase if the price of a particular coin increases by, say, 10% in a specified time, set this option to 10%. |
Try to buy on a pullback |
---|
|
Allows making a purchase after the price falls by a certain level in a specified time. |
This enables taking advantage of a so-called second wave of growth that can occur after the first major rise. |
You can define the time and percentage drop relative to the price at the time of receiving the listing alert. |
Disable buying after a huge increase |
---|
|
Allows the bot to avoid buying if the token has already experienced a huge increase. |
Enables avoiding purchases during a "Pump" or peak. |
If you want to avoid purchasing when the token has already gained a lot of %, activate this option. |
Difference from the lowest price |
---|
|
Allows the bot to make a delayed purchase at a specific percentage difference from the lowest price. |
Enables identification of favorable price levels, relatively low compared to the coin's earlier price. |
If you want the price to be 3% lower than the lowest price in the last 24 hours, configure this option to -3%. |
Analyzed time backwards |
---|
|
Defines the period to be used for calculating percentage changes in the price drop. |
This allows determining the time in which the required drop must occur for the bot to make a purchase. |
If you want the bot to make a purchase if a specific percentage drop occurred within the last 2 hours, set this option to 2h. |
Duration of action |
---|
|
Defines the time for which the bot should operate, after a previous rapid price increase blocking the purchase. |
Introducing a waiting time prevents buying altcoins for too many days after a listing when the emotions around such an event no longer affect the coin's price. |
If you want the bot to monitor the coin's price for another 2 days after the listing information, set this option to 2 days. |
Selling FunctionsAutomatic Sale |
---|
|
Enables or disables the automatic sale function. |
If you choose to activate automatic selling, the bot will sell the coin after a specified time. |
Time for Automatic Sale |
---|
|
Sets the time, in minutes, after which the trading bot should automatically make a sale. |
For example, if you set "Time for Automatic Sale" to 360 minutes, the trading bot will wait 360 minutes (6 hours) after which it will make a sale. This delay provides a monitoring period and allows for an automatic decision. |
Automatic Sale with Profit |
---|
|
Enables or disables the automatic sale function. |
Specifies the maximum gains, i.e., the percentage increase after which the transaction will be closed. |
If you choose to activate automatic selling, the bot will sell the coin if its price increases by a specified percentage. |
Trailing Stop Order |
---|
|
Provides the ability to dynamically raise the sell order during significant price increases. |
Activation aims to maximize profits by moving the sales level accordingly. |
If activated, the sell order will be raised as long as the price continues to rise, and if the price starts to fall after exceeding certain increases, the sell order will be activated to secure profits at an optimal level. |
Activation Threshold for Trailing Stop Order |
---|
|
After what percentage increase should the trailing stop order be activated. |
The tighter the activation level, e.g., 3%, the more often it will be triggered, but the individual profit will be much lower. The looser the take profit, the less frequently it will be triggered, with a possible high profit. |
If you set it to 5%, the trailing stop order will be activated when the coin's price increases by 5% above the entry price. |
Trailing Stop Loss (TSL) |
---|
|
How much % below the current price of the altcoin should the trailing stop loss be set after reaching a certain profit. |
The tighter the trailing stop loss, e.g., 1%, the more often it will be triggered. The looser the trailing stop loss, the less frequently it will be triggered. |
If you want the coin to be sold after reaching a certain profit if it falls e.g., 2% below the current price, set it to -2%. |
Delay for Trailing Stop Loss |
---|
|
The time the bot should wait before activating the trailing stop loss. |
A longer wait offers potentially larger profits, as price increases don't necessarily start immediately. A shorter wait potentially offers a greater chance of catching quick rises right after the listing announcement. |
If you want the app to wait 1 hour before activating the trailing sell order, set it to 1 hour. |
Activate Stop Loss - maximum loss threshold |
---|
|
Allows activating or deactivating the automatic sell feature. |
This helps limit the size of individual losses but increases their frequency. |
Activation will cause the bot to automatically place a sell order if the price falls below a specified percentage threshold. |
Deactivate purchases after Stop Loss for a specific coin |
---|
|
Blocks buying a specific coin for a certain time after a stop loss occurrence. |
This gives you time to analyze the cause of the declines and possibly deactivate the bot before repurchasing. |
Activation will prevent the bot from buying that coin which triggered the stop loss for a specified period. |
Deactivate purchases after Stop Loss for any coins |
---|
|
Blocks buying all coins for a specified time after a stop loss occurrence. |
This gives you time to analyze the cause of the declines and possibly deactivate the bot before making new purchases. |
Activation will prevent the bot from buying any coins for a specified period. |
Purchase lock time after Stop Loss |
---|
|
Determines the time during which the bot refrains from making purchases after a stop loss occurrence. |
By introducing a delay period, you can analyze the reasons for the declines and potentially avoid further buying in unstable conditions. |
If you want the bot to refrain from transactions for an hour after a stop loss, set the time to 1h. |
