Coinbase Binance Ratio Index (CBR Index)



The Coinbase Binance Ratio Index is calculated as the percentage difference between the intensity of BTC purchases on Binance relative to purchases on Coinbase.

Coinbase Binance Ratio Gap (CBR-G)



The Coinbase Binance Gab Ratio is calculated as the difference between the intensity of BTC purchases on Binance relative to purchases on Coinbase. CBR-G has larger amplitudes.


Interpretation
Differences in these indicators can signal different market behaviors:
Negative difference: Indicates potential BTC accumulation by institutional investors on Coinbase. Typically associated with lower prices (local bottoms).
Positive difference: May signal selling pressure and is often associated with higher prices (local peaks) on Binance.



This chart shows the trend and variability over time between BTC purchases on Binance and Coinbase. Readings above zero suggest greater purchase intensity on Binance, while readings below zero indicate a dominance of purchases on Coinbase.



High peaks indicate significant differences in purchase intensity between exchanges, which can be a signal for a more detailed analysis of potential market trends.
