If I have a Tier 2 subscription paid for, and I want to upgrade to a higher plan, do I have to pay the full amount?

If you have a subscription paid by card and you want to upgrade to a higher plan, you don't have to pay the full amount. You can switch to a higher plan, getting a discount on the new plan. Go to your user profile in the "Subscriptions" section to make the change.

If (for example) you have a Tier 2 subscription paid for and you want to switch to a higher plan, you don’t need to pay the full amount for the new plan. Instead, you only pay the difference.

Let's say today is March 3, 2023, and you have paid for quarterly access for 158 USD, which started on February 16, 2023. Up to now, you have used 15 out of 90 days. This means you have utilized 16% of the 158 USD, which is 25 USD. The remaining part of your current subscription is 133 USD (158 USD - 25 USD).

If you decide to upgrade your subscription today, you'll receive a discount of 133 USD off the value of the new plan. In practice, this means you only pay the difference between the value of your current subscription and the value of the new plan.

To calculate the amount you need to pay when changing your subscription, you can use the following formula:

Additional Payment = (Price of the new subscription - Proportional value of the remaining subscription)

Where:

Price of the new subscription is the full price of the plan you want to switch to.
Proportional value of the remaining subscription is calculated as follows:
Proportional value of the remaining subscription = (Price of the current subscription * Remaining days) / Total number of days in the subscription

In your case:

Price of the current subscription (Tier 2) = 158 USD
Total number of days in the subscription = 90 days
Remaining days = 75 days (90 days - 15 days)

Proportional value of the remaining subscription = (158 USD * 75 days) / 90 days = 131.67 USD

Now, to calculate the additional payment, subtract the proportional value of the remaining subscription from the price of the new subscription:

Additional Payment = Price of the new subscription - 131.67 USD

Once you know the price of the new subscription, you can calculate the additional payment using the above formula.

How quickly is access activated after payment in cryptocurrencies?

The average activation time for an account, when paying in cryptocurrencies, is 20 minutes during business hours. If you have paid for access by transferring crypto, to activate the subscription, send us the transaction link and your user ID. To do this, use the chat window on the MaxData.app website. Access will be granted immediately after verifying the transaction.

What if I want to make a transfer for access, for example in ETH, and I expect large price fluctuations when converted to USD?

Make the payment according to the current exchange rate at that minute.

Where can I find my user ID?

The user ID is a few digits that allow us to identify you. You will find it in the top right corner by clicking on your profile icon.

How to delete an account?
